A female passenger and the wreckage of the small plane she was riding in has been found after the sea plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Wrightsville Beach.
Two people were on the plane when it was reported missing after 2 a.m. Sunday morning. The woman hasn't been identified yet, and the pilot still hasn't been found at this time.
The Federal Aviation Administration in Atlanta says the plane was a Seawind 3000 registered to Samson Flying Service based out of Wilmington, Delaware.
