A woman in Tyrell County lost her life Friday night in a head on collision. It happened three miles east of Columbia on highway 64 just before 8:30 last night. Investigators tell WITN Saturday morning 39 year old Sheila Ann Willis of Cherryville, was traveling west bound on U-S 64 when her vehicle veered left of center and struck another vehicle head on. Willis was air lifted by East Care to Pitt County Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. 4 passengers in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries. Highway 64 was shut down in both directions for about an hour as the scene was cleared.
