A Rocky Mount girl is missing and believed to be with a registered sex offender. Now an Amber Alert has been issued. The girl is identified as 12-year-old Jodie Renee Collie, a white female five feet four inches tall weighing 114 pounds. Police say the man who took her is 27-year-old Phillip Daniel Denkler. Authorities say Denkler was released from jail last Saturday and apparently began contacting Collie. They were last seen in a beige 2005 Hyundai Sonata with the license plate number of NMN 2630.
