The groundbreaking for a new industrial park brought tears to one man's eyes. Belhaven resident George Ebron was among those to gather for groundbreaking of the Beaufort-Hyde Industrial Park in Belhaven. What Ebron didn't know was the project, expected to create over one hundred jobs, is going to be named in his honor for all of his contributions to the community. The park is expected to be finished in about a year. It's a facility organizers say is unique because the cost will be entirely paid for with dollars from grants and investors. No local funds are necessary.
