Former Marine Gets Maximum Sentence

A former Marine got the maximum sentence from a judge in Jacksonville Wednesday, following a jury's guilty verdict in a fatal crash there last November. The accident happened on Highway 24 near Hubert, when 22-year-old Lucas Borges ran head on into another vehicle, killing 19-year-old Jamie Lamsden. A jury found Borges guilty of second-degree murder and other charges on Monday. He's been sentenced to a maximum of 32 years behind bars.
