Donate Your Old Cell Phone to Help Special Olympics

The Kinston Department of Public Safety is collecting cell phones for a good cause. Cell phones donated to the department will be recycled for money to help with the 2005 Special Olympics. An estimated 130 million cell phones end up in landfills every year. Special Olympics will receive a minimum of $1 to more than $100 per donated phone. For more information on where you can donate your phone, call the Kinston Department of Public Safety.
