Homemade Bomb Tossed at House
It's the second time in one month in Eastern Carolina that a homemade bottle bomb is at the center of a police investigation. This time in New Bern.
Lawmen say the small bomb with liquid and aluminum foil stuffed inside was thrown in a front yard on National Avenue Monday night. Police are having the materials analyzed and investigating who and why someone did this. The house was not damaged.
