There's some great new artwork on display at Festival Park on Roanoke Island. "Explorations By Two Women" runs through July, and features the work of Margie Sawyer, an Elizabeth City native. Together with Chapel Hill native Nancy Marple, the two collections are united through differing styles of collage. Some of the more eccentric pieces use cloth, stones, and even sand to stimulate the senses.
