Video: Eric Lane Sentenced to Death
Eric Lane has been sentenced to death. He was convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering five-year-old Precious Whitfield back in 2002.
That conviction came down late last week. Monday, it took the jury only an hour to sentence him to death.
An automatic appeal will go into effect. Lane chose not to have his attorneys speak on his behalf during the sentencing phase of the trial.
