A giant manhunt was underway Saturday night in Martin County, under strange circumstances.

Sheriff's deputies say they were called around 7 last night by a man claiming that he had seen a woman arguing with another man off of Thoroughfare Road near the Martin County Beaufort County border. The man was then said to have dragged the woman into the woods at gunpoint. Deputies brought in K-9 units to try and track the victim and her abductor, but the dogs failed to find anything. Deputies then used four wheel drive vehicles to help in the search and even called in a State Highway Patrol helicopter from Raleigh, equipped with infra-red cameras meant to pick up on body heat. Authorities say they had a huge area to search, totaling nearly 20-30 square miles. But still so far nothing has been found, and now they need your help.
