Roads were blocked off in two counties Saturday night as a search was underway near the Beaufort/Martin County line on Thoroughfare and surrounding roads. Officials from those counties aren't commenting on the exact nature of the search, but they were responding to call that a man with a gun was seen dragging a woman into a wooded area around 7:30 Saturday night. The search has been going on since then. A State Highway Patrol helicopter from Raleigh was also called in. We'll pass along any new information as we get it.
