Stepfather Arrested for Rape
A Pitt County man is accused of raping his stepchild.
According to the Sheriff's Department, a 13-year-old sibling reportedly witnessed a sexual act between his 11 year old sister and their stepfather.
After more interviews, lawmen charged 51-year-old Ronnie Whitehurst in the case.
He has a former conviction of indecent liberties with a minor, back in 1988.
