There were three fatalities over the weekend in Lenoir County, all dealing with bicycle riders hit by a vehicle. One of the victims was an 11-year-old boy. The three separate incidents all took place at the Southern end of the county between Kinston and Pink Hill. The highway patrol says the accidents that took place on Highway 241 and the one near Albrightens Cross Roads were accidents and no charges will be filed. The accident that took place on Will Baker Road was a hit and run. The highway patrol says if the driver is found they will be charged with a felony.
