Two people died in accidents on the Outer Banks over the weekend. Authorities say 51-year-old Elsie Ives of Virginia was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a van on Highway 158 in Kill Devil Hills Saturday night. And in Powells Point in Currituck County, lawmen say a 20-year-old New Jersey man was killed when his car was hit head on by another car. Charges are pending against the driver of that other vehicle.
