11 Year Old Killed in Crash

A high speed chase lead to a violent crash in Johnston County near Smithfield earlier Saturday, one that killed an 11 year old boy, and sent two others to the hospital.

The driver believed to be Kenneth Marlboro of Florida, sped to pass a truck on West Market Street in Smithfield, where a trooper clocked him going 106 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone. He then lost control of his vehicle running off the road, into a ditch and landing on two horse trailers crushing the roof and in turn killing 11 year old Craig Euell. Marlboro and another child on board, are at UNC Medical Center. Police say Marlboro will be charged with second degree murder.
