North Carolina State Highway Patrol Troopers had a fatal hit and run Friday.
A little before midnight Friday night troopers responded to a wreck south of Kinston at State Road 1342. They found that a car had been hit and that the other car had fled the scene. Troopers also found 51 year old Jaston Fordhad III deceased on the scene. The highway patrol is investigating this fatal hit and run accident.
