This year's Big Rock Blue Marlin fishing tournament was something many hadn't seen or expected in a while.
The 47th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin fishing tournament saw a Blue Marlin come into get weighed everyday of the tournament, an amazingly high number of fish caught this year. The tournament featured 181 boats this year, with an overall purse of over 1.3 million dollars. The tournament's final day was Saturday, but was more than just fishing. The tournament also gives to charities in an around Morehead City.
