Kids Walk For A Cure

By  |

Students at Ayden Middle School in Pitt County were walking for a purpose Monday.

Ayden Middle School 8th graders took a break from class to walk for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The students raised over $3,000 dollars by selling five dollar paper feet in the month of February.

And you too can walk for a purpose. On Saturday, March 15, the fourth annual Greenville walk to cure diabetes will be held at the Greenville convention center.

WITN is a proud participant and will have several walkers in the event.
