Nineteen-Year-Old Charged With Second Degree Murder

Greenville Police have added a second-degree murder charge to a woman they say was fleeing arrest. Police say 19-year-old Shante Nicole Sutton was driving a getaway car after a strong-arm robbery in front of Wal-Mart on June 11. According to police, they tried to pull the car over, she fled and ran a stop sign and crashed into an another vehicle killing the passenger in her car, 16-year-old Matthew Satterthwaite. Police say the second-degree murder charge is added onto her previous charges of assault with a deadly weapon and fleeing to elude police.
