Communities In Schools And RBC Centura Team Up

More than 20,000 students dropped out of school last year in North Carolina, but there are programs out there helping students stay in classrooms.

One such program is called Communities In School. Tuesday in Pitt County, the organization got a boost from RBC Centura bank. The two are partnering up for an initiiave called "Invest In Success."

Simply put, anybody... not just RBC customers... can make a deposit to help students stay in school and better their futures.

Each of the 187 branches in North Carolina is taking part. The money stays in whatever county it is donated. You can donate at the banks or online by clicking here.
