Firework stands are up for open for business, but do you know the law?
Fireworks can be used as long as an adult is present and setting them off. Fireworks that are illegal in the state are ones that take off into the air to explode into a large display.
Greenville fire battalion chief Tony Moore says illegal fireworks will be confiscated. Fire experts say if you plan on setting off legal fireworks, make sure you read the instructions, and have a fire extinguisher nearby in case of a fire.
