Wilson County authorities say this time they were ready. Now 34-year-old Eric Odell Gadson of Wilson is behind bars and could be responsible for a series of bank robberies in Eastern Carolina. Those robberies had been happening following carjackings. So when one happened in Rocky Mount yesterday, authorities staked out area banks. They say Gadson showed up in that stolen car at Heritage Bank in Sims. They nabbed him following a high-speed chase and are trying to determine if he's responsible for other bank robberies.
