Soldiers Families Suing Blackwater USA

A plane crash lawsuit with North Carolina ties is making its way to court. It centers around the families of three American soldiers who died in an Afghanistan crash. The families are suing an Eastern Carolina based security contractor that supplied the plane and crew, saying safety was not a priority. Three employees of the Currituck County based Blackwater USA also died when the plane slammed into a mountain in November. A lawyer representing Blackwater and its related businesses says the company is not to blame.
