Mapping Out the "Cool" Spots

Video will be available shortly.

School has only been out a couple of weeks and chances are, your kids are already complaining about having nothing to do. Some teens in Jacksonville are about to change that for young people in Onslow County. Starting Tuesday morning, they will hit the streets, talking one-on-one with area businesses and with teenagers. The idea is to map out opportunities, things young people can do, places to work or just have fun. Then, the local information will be submitted to a national mapping effort available soon on the Internet to let kids know what's going on in their hometowns. The mapping project is asking businesses and teenagers to take a few minutes to help with the effort.
