Wilson police have charged 22-year-old Steven Allen Cobb, Junior with aiding and abetting in the murder of baby Bethany Dakoda Harris. The Wilson man is accused of helping the baby's mother, Jennifer Lee Bedgood, kill her baby girl because he is suspected of giving the woman cocaine. Earlier this week, Bedgood was charged with murder of her child. Officials say the baby died as a result of inadequate care after a premature birth and maternal cocaine use.
