This coming Monday, health departments across Eastern Carolina and the Nation will provide free HIV testing for anyone who wants it. Health experts say just under one million people nationwide have been diagnosed with the disease and an estimated 200,000 people have HIV and don't even know it. No appointment is necessary and pregnant women are encouraged to get tested.
