Eric Odell Gadsen, the man who led deputies in Wilson County on a high-speed chase last week, has been charged with robbing another bank, this one in Pitt County. Gadsen of Wilson led deputies on that chase after attempting to rob a bank last week in Sims. The FBI was contacted and with the help of the Bethel police department, identified Gadsen as the suspect in the April hold up of Southern Bank and Trust in Bethel. Gadsen is being held in the Pitt County Detention Center.
