The supermarket chain Winn Dixie is closing all of its stores in North Carolina, including three locations in Goldsboro.
The supermarket chain employs over 200 people at its Wayne County stores, according to a company spokesperson. Both shoppers and workers of the Goldsboro stores say they're shocked about the announcement.
The company plans to put the stores up for sale, but says its unclear how many employees will be relocated out of state and how many will still have jobs.
