Lawsuit Says Convention Center Falling Apart

Craven County officials say the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center is falling apart. And because of that the county has filed a lawsuit against its designers and the builders.

The convention center was built in 1999. And Craven County manager Harold Blizzard says floors and walls have been cracking and sinking as much as four inches in some places since then.

WITN contacted several of the companies involved. Two of them don't believe they did anything wrong and are surprised by the lawsuit.
