Are the Olympics in His Future?

Video will be available shortly.

Swimming standout Chip Peterson from Carteret County continues to make a big splash. It has been about a year since we first introduced you to Chip. At only 16 Chip broke several state and national records. Now, a year later at 17 years old Chip is breaking onto the international scene, representing the United States in overseas competition. Just a few weeks ago the soon to be high school senior earned top honors at the world championships and the U.S. Nationals. And Chip's talents extend out of the water, too. A straight "A" student, he scored near perfect on his S.A.T.s. He says he plans to swim in college and is looking into programs at Stanford, Michigan, University of Florida, UNC and Georgia. He also has hopes of making the Olympics in 2008.
