A historic building in Eastern Carolina that had a face lift several months ago, is making history once again. For the first time in nearly 300 years, state legislators met in the Chowan County courthouse in Edenton. Lawmakers from across the state convened for a regular working session. The house discussed and debated pending bills at the meeting. The session was held to help celebrate a $3,000,000 renovation of the courthouse.
