Raising Funds for Boys and Girls Clubs

A multi million-dollar campaign is underway by the Pitt County Boys and Girls Clubs. The goal is simple, raise enough money to build a new facility to replace inadequate facilities in Ayden and Greenville. So far, the effort has resulted in pledges of $2,500,000, including a donation of land for the Ayden and North Pitt Clubs. But millions more are needed. A needs assessment conducted by the club shows 5,000 to 6,000 children in Pitt County have to go without after school and summertime care.
