A merger is in the works for one of the most well known convenience stores in Eastern Carolina. The parent company of Trade Mart, Trade Oil Company of Pitt County, is merging with Willco Hess of Winston Salem. The details are still being worked out, but the executive vice president of Trade Oil Company tells WITN-7 the merger is expected to be completed sometime in June. No word on a name change. When it's all said and done, stores combined from both companies will total over 300. This is a story we'll continue to closely follow and bring you the details as we get them.
