OBX Still Recovering From Winter & Spring Storms

Video will be available shortly.

Many Outer Banks communities are still trying to recover from a rough winter and spring. A hurricane could prove disastrous. South Nags Head was hit hard by winter storms. Seagull Drive washed out in February, Surfside Drive did the same in a spring storm leaving many homes isolated. Some homes had to be torn down, meaning a loss in taxes and tourist dollars. The May 6th Noreaster battered the dunes along Highway 12 as crews tried to fight back an endless flood of sand and water.
