Authorities are still trying to solve the mystery of a body found in Edgecombe County Sunday afternoon. Edgecombe County Sheriff James Knight says the body was sent to Chapel Hill for an autopsy to figure out not only who she is, but also how she died. The sheriff says the autopsy results could be in anytime. A neighbor says the owners of the property, where the body was found, made the discovery while riding on a golf cart. The body was discovered in the woods off Old Farm Road near Highway 64 Sunday just after 5 p.m. The sheriff's department is investigating the case as a homicide.
