Investigators have now fingered a Nevada man as the cohort of 39 year old Anna Ayala who claimed she found a missing finger in a bowl of Wendys chili.
Over the course of the investigation into the special ingredient alleged to have been found in the California woman's chili, Wendy's says they've have lost millions of dollars in sales, but it could have been more had it have not been for local customers who continued to eat at the restaurant despite claims. So to say thank you, to local eaters, Wendy's around the nation are giving out free samples, not of the spicy chili at the center of this hot investigation, but of their cool chocolate frosty treat.
Child size frosties will be given out at this Washington Wendy's upon request through out the weekend.
