Big renovation plans announced in Washington Thursday for a downtown bank. Representatives with Cooperative Bank, the city of Washington and Beaufort County were on hand as bank officials detailed plans for a complete renovation of its downtown Washington location. Bank representatives say the exterior, parking lot and landscaping will all get a makeover. The bank also plans to renovate and lease office space next door. The renovations are expected to be completed in a few months.
