Check Cashing Business Robbed in Washington

A check cashing employee was forced to the back of the business in an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon in Washington. Authorities say just before 5 p.m., two males entered the Cash Advance in Washington on the corner of Bridge and Main Streets. Lawmen say one man was brandishing a gun and took money from the register then fled. Police dogs were used to track the two men, but they are still at large.
