Did you know women can go topless at Topsail Beach in Onslow County? The beach does not have an ordinance prohibiting women from this practice. Police Chief Rickey Smith says officers patrolling the beach spot a topless woman every few years. They do normally ask these sunbathers to move to the Southern end of the island, where there are fewer tourists.
