Big Day for Pirate Baseball

Saturday is a big day for ECU and Clark-LeClair Stadium. The day begins with public tours of the facility followed by a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the stadium. The game following the ceremony will begin with a first pitch by the stadium's biggest financial contributor, Bill Clark of Bill Clark Homes. Clark donated $1, 500,000 toward the $11,000,000 project. Clark, an ECU alumni, says he just giving back to the community and ECU. Public tours of the park will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. The ribbon cutting will start at 10:30 and the game begins at 1 p.m. The game can be seen on WITN-TV, and we'll have live video streaming right here at witntv.com.
