A tractor trailer and car crashed at the intersection of Arlington and Memorial in Greenville early Friday morning, spilling 300 gallons of diesel fuel all over the road. Police say the driver of the car was badly hurt in the accident and was taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital, last reported in critical condition. The intersection was closed for several hours but has since reopened to traffic. Police don't know why the two vehicles collided and if charges will be filed.
