Over 2,000 East Carolina University students piled into the Greenville Convention Center Wednesday for the ECU spring career fair.
Over 165 employers participated in the event, including WITN. The fair was open to all majors and ECU alumni.
The economy's downslide was not far from the job seekers minds. ECU assistant director of the career fair, Jim McAtee, says "I really think it'll help students find jobs in a really tough job market. Employers wouldn't come if they didn't have the need".
McAtee says many of the meetings lead to interviews. He says some of the employers will stick around Thursday for further interviews.
