Robber on the Run

Authorities need your help to find a bank robber that got away Thursday morning in Rocky Mount. Authorities say a man wearing a burgundy hoody and a nylon stocking over his face robbed this RBC Centura Bank at gunpoint around 9:30 on South Washington Street. Police say the man got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Lawmen are asking anyone with information to contact the Rocky Mount Police Department or Crimestoppers at 252-977-1111.
