Police Chief Suspended

One Eastern Carolina town's only law enforcement officer has been suspended. Aurora Police Chief Stephen Williams was suspended Friday until further notice. Mayor Joe Hooker would not comment on why the chief was suspended but did say the town will be holding a closed door meeting to discuss the chief's job at the town hall at 5 p.m. Monday evening. .
