What Defines Animal Cruelty?

So what defines animal cruelty? Will Walls with the United States Equine Rescue League says animal cruelty comes in two forms. Beating to inflict injury to an animal is what most people associate with cruelty. The other form of cruelty is not providing animals with adequate food, shelter, and veterinarian needs. He goes on to say that the league tries to avoid seizing animals at all costs.

Remember if you see an animal being abused or neglected, you can call your local animal shelter, or sheriff's department to log your complaint.
