Woman Overturns Car on Highway 70

In Lenoir County, Sonia Rouse of Raleigh wrecked when she overcorrected and flipped her vehicle in the Westbound lane of Highway 70 Tuesday morning around 10:30. It happened just under the 903 overpass. Rouse was taken to Lenoir Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, then flown to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Charges are pending upon completion of the State Highway Patrol's investigation.
