Over 100,000 people are expected to head to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point for this weekend's air show. And two things on the mind of officials at the base are safety and security. Base officials say parking will allow people direct access to the bases flight line so they can check out all the action, but folks won't have access to the rest of the base for security reasons. Officials say personal belongings will also be checked. The main gate opens to the public at 10 a.m. Saturday morning. WITN-TV is a proud sponsor if this weekend's air show.
