A teenager who admitted killing his parents and keeping their bodies at home for weeks afterward has been sentenced as much as 25 years for killing his mother.
Adam Sapikowski already had been sentenced last week to as much as 24 1/2 years in prison for the death of his father. The 19-year-old Sapikowski will be in his 60s before he gets out of prison.
A prosecutor said the killings with a .410-gauge shotgun came after a fight over a girlfriend and grades.
