A Greene County deputy is facing disciplinary action after he accidentally tased a student at a basketball game Tuesday night.
Sheriff Lemmie Smith says it happened at Greene Central High School when two students asked about the deputy's taser.
Smith says when the deputy pulled it out of its holster, the taser went off--hitting a 13-year-old.
The sheriff says the student is doing fine. The deputy has been with the department since 2003.
