Goldsboro police say while people are eating out, crooks are cleaning out their cars. Police say nine cars were broken into this weekend while the drivers were inside a restaurant in the Highway 70 Spence Avenue area of Goldsboro. Police say thieves are less likely to break into cars if people do not leave valuables in plain view. Police say break-ins in restaurant parking lots have been increasing over the past several weeks.
